SEIU Local 2015 is the largest union in California, representing more than half a million long-term care workers (home care, skilled nursing facility, and assisted living center workers) throughout the state. We are also the largest long-term care union in the U.S. Our members are as diverse as the state’s population but united in our commitment to caring for California's older adults and those with disabilities.

We believe that everyone has the right to quality care. We use our collective union power to raise standards in the care economy, ensuring quality and safety for care workers (the largest low-wage workforce in the state) and those we care for. Our justice agenda is our north star, as we use our campaigns, the ballot box, and our advocacy to push for racial, economic, housing, immigrant, restorative, environmental, disability, and LGBTQIA2S+ justice.
